Beeston Store Closure to Minimise COVID-19
Effective: 21st March 2020 @5pm
As of the current situation with the Coronavirus Pandemic, Herbaltides management are doing everything possible to minimise the risks to customers and staff members alike. As such from Saturday 21st March 2020, our Beeston store will close its doors at 5pm to help in these extremely difficult times.
As Beeston comes to a close, we would like to iterate that no members of staff have shown any signs of infection and we are only closing the store to help reduce risk of infection to staff and our valued customers.
Dispatch which is also in operation from the Beeston store is to be re-located this weekend over to our HQ in Spondon, Derby. This means that we will now be situated next door to our Lab, and will reduce the exposure of transferring eliquids to despatch. This relocation is actioned in the best interest of our customers, whereby reducing the steps in the process from manufacture to despatch, and in to customer hands.
Stores remaining open:
Both our Spondon and Chaddesden stores will remain open at this time, but maybe subject to change over the coming weeks and months. Should any further temporary closures be necessary, we will be notifying customers at the earliest opportunity. Notifications would be issued across social media, the website, and store notices.
Our aim is to keep online ordering in operation for the foreseeable future. Online ordering is one of the safest options for all customers to follow, we currently encourage all customers that are self isolating to make use of the website.
Covid-19: Royal Mail Change of Policy
Royal Mail have made changes to their doorstep delivery amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
The company posted on their website: “In order to protect both our people and customers as much as possible, we will not be handing over our hand-held devices to customers to capture signatures. Postmen and women will instead log the name of the person accepting the item. This will apply to all deliveries that require a signature.
“Additionally, for all customers (including those who are self-isolating) where we need to deliver any parcel that won’t fit through your letterbox, we will place your item at your door. Having knocked on your door, we will then step aside to a safe distance while you retrieve your item. This will ensure your item is delivered securely rather than being left outside.
“If you are unable to come to the door at all we will issue a ‘Something for You’ card, advising of other ways you can arrange to get your item. For example, by getting a friend or family member to collect the parcel from our local Customer Service Point on your behalf. In this situation, and to keep your mail as secure as possible, they will need to bring along the card we left you and a form of ID in the name of the person the item is addressed to.”
