The roots of Voopoo's Drag Vape Mods
The Voopoo Drag Max is a new unique member of the expanding Drag vape kits, and it’s unique in every way.
The name “Drag” takes avid vapers back to the classic Drag Box Mod, a trendy vape mod. However, Voopoo’s Drag branding has been applied to various pod kits such as the Drag S, Drag X and even the small but cute Drag Nano.

Recently, a new type of device has been increasing in popularity. It is called the “pod kit.” It has a small pod with a coil inside. It also uses different batteries than other devices, which are 18650 batteries. However, the biggest difference for this device may be its power output, which is 5 to 177 watts.
The Drag Max mod features the GENE.FAN 2.0 Chip gives users 2 modes.
- Smart Mode – selects the correct power output to suit the coil installed.
- RBA Mode – full adjustment of output power.
Drag Max Design and Features
A huge 1.08in colour TFT screen has 2 display type options to give a clear view of all of your vaping data; this is one of the best screens on the latest vape devices of late.
You would usually find the 510 connectors to add an atomiser to the mod – you now find a magnetic pod connector. These pod connectors you may have seen on the Drag X mod and are proving very popular.
The reason for this is that there are multiple pods you can then attach to the mod.

The pods have a leak-proof design with a top fill rubber flap; this makes refilling your pods very easy. Performance is outstanding, and we found that the coils last a long time before changing is required. Obviously, this does depend on the type of juice you are using.

There is an airflow adjustment on the mod itself, and the pod is refillable via the bottom fill port.
